ELEVATE has created a line of high quality, direct replacement silicone induction hoses for the Volvo C30 T5 engine. This kit includes the three hoses that are used in transferring boosted air from the turbo, through the intercooler, and into the throttle body while retaining the stock hard pipe between the turbo and intercooler.
Manufactured of top quality, four-ply silicone, our silicone hoses are a long lasting alternative to the stock rubber hoses. Rubber hoses deteriorate over time due to ozone, high underhood temperatures, and exposure to oil. Silicone has the benefit of being far more resilient to all three of these factors. Our silicone hoses expand less under boost, better transferring the boosted air from the turbo to the engine.
Easy installation-- all but one connection (hose to throttle body) is from under the vehicle.
Fitment for the stock K04 turbocharger.
Included in the kit for the stock K04 turbo are three hoses with corresponding clamps:
Hose IC6: Short, angled hose connecting the turbo outlet to the factory intercooler hard pipe.
Hose IC5: Long, 90 degree hose connecting the factory intercooler hard pipe to the intercooler inlet. This hose will work with any stock or aftermarket intercooler that is a direct replacement to the stock intercooler (as is the ELEVATE Intercooler).
Hose IC3: Long, "S" shaped hose connecting the intercooler outlet to the throttle body.
A quality replacement for stock hoses Review by MyNameIdeasWereTaken
Rubber cracks with age. These silicone hoses are a perfect fitment, easy to installed, and they don't flex when pressurized air or vacuum pass through them. Plus, they look cool in your engine bay! (Posted on 5/8/2017)
looks good, fits well Review by cklamp
I've had this set for about 8 months and so far working just as expected. The black ones blend in and don't look like a mod unless you know what you're looking for.
The IC to TB is a bit hard to mount but that's not a problem with the Hose, just an FYI for the type asking if they can do this themselves or not. (Posted on 5/5/2017)
